Kate Hughes

Hi, I’m Kate Hughes, founder of Blue Ridge Mental Health & Wellness, PLLC. As a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in family practice and psychiatry, I bring over 12 years of outpatient experience to provide personalized treatment plans that respect each patient’s history, priorities, and wellness goals. I am passionate about helping patients find the right balance of medications to maximize benefits while minimizing side effects. While the path to stable mental health can be challenging, my mission is to demystify and humanize the process, making it as safe and successful as possible.

Yemi Ikhile

Yemi is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based health care, mentally and physically. With a strong foundation in nursing and a passion for holistic well-being, Yemi specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing psychiatric and physical disorders across the lifespan.

Drawing from her extensive clinical experience, Yemi integrates medication management, psychotherapy, and patient education to empower individuals on their mental and physical wellness journey. Yemi believes in a collaborative approach to care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of every patient.

Judy Baggett

Judy Baggett is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of healthcare experience. Her background as an RN and family medicine NP led her to specialize in psychiatry after recognizing the critical role of mental health in overall well-being. Judy works with adults facing various mental health disorders, combining traditional psychiatric medications with established complementary treatments like acupuncture, homeopathy, biofeedback, and nutritional supplements. She values building strong patient relationships through respect and kindness, creating evidence-based, personalized, and practical treatment plans. Judy is available for consultations on Thursdays and Fridays.
